APPLICATION

  Following are a list of items we ask you to ensure are prepared before beginning the application:

Complete a brief (one-page) statement outlining the ways in which you hope to benefit from SLS.
Include information about your background in the arts and literature.
There is a $150 application fee which can be paid online through PayPal, Mastercard or Visa after you've submitted the application, or, you may send us your personal cheque, postmarked within seven days of the date of application (address below). Summer Literary Seminars is a registered non-profit organization in Canada and the U.S.
Upon submitting the online application, please mail a sample of your work (10-15 pages of poetry, no more than 25-30 double-spaced pages of prose, dramatic work, travel writing, translation, or criticism). If you prefer you may print out the form and send it in by post with your deposit and writing sample.

Please note: applicants will be accepted into the program on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is competitive and the space is limited, so apply early! Early registration is the only guarantee of placement in the seminar section you request.

We review applications on a rolling basis.
