Our first SLS program in Tbilisi, Georgia was a resounding success
Our flagship program in Tbilisi, Georgia was remarkable. We participated in workshops led by stellar SLS instructors, attended talks about local literary culture and politics from experts in the field, and listened to a variety of readings from both our own faculty and from guests — all in the breathtaking setting of the Writers’ House of Georgia. We visited the nearby caucus mountains and monastery in Kazbegi, and the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe; and, of course, we ate and drank our fill of Khachapuri and wine.
This amazing city — hospitable, beautiful, and rich in ancient culture — has an endless amount to offer writers. We can’t wait to go back. Keep your eyes on our social media channels for photos and stories from the trip.
