ALUMNI Experiences Who are SLS Students? SLS students range in age from undergraduates in college to senior citizens—and every age in between. There is no university affiliation necessary, only the desire for a once-in-a-lifetime literary experience. While we at SLS may have encouraged them to send something, we did not edit what they wrote (well, maybe only minutely, for space and the faint of heart) nor did we direct them what to say.
